This is a kiting expedition through the proving grounds of Genghis Khan. Mongolia is a country of extremes. Hot summers. Cold winters. Dry deserts. Vast alpine lakes. And thanks to this kiting expedition, it’s also the ideal place for an extreme adventure.
Join with team leader, Gavin Mulvay, on a unique expedition through the vast wilderness of Mongolia. Gavin is the ideal leader for this kind of expedition. Not only does he hold an acute understanding of wilderness environments and unsurpassed navigation skills, he recently set the world record for the longest kite-based land journey.
Mongolia is rich with culture and history, including the early proving grounds of Genghis Khan himself. Home to the biggest desert in Asia, the Gobi boasts roughly 1.2 million square kilometres covering Northern China and Southern Mongolia. There is nothing quite like experiencing the vastness of these arid lands using the power of a kite-buggy and the excitement of adventure.
